Wesley was an awesome choice for our wedding at Bok! Our guests were ready to dance, and Domino Dancing kept them on their feet the entire night. We received a ton of compliments on the playlist, with one guest suggesting we should sell it to future wedding couples haha. He was very easy to work with and his prices were very reasonable. Amazing! Wesley went above and beyond. I filled out the form he shared with us before our wedding and he did exactly what we asked for the ceremony and reception. Wes was our wedding DJ and we couldn't have had a better experience. Many of our guests work in music (so the bar was high!) and Wes totally exceeded every expectation. We had so many folks (again, who work in music!) say it was the best wedding playlist they'd ever heard. Wes kept folks on the dance floor all night. He seamlessly worked with our venue and easily incorporated an acoustic guitar for our ceremony. Wesley is, in a word, the BEST! We booked him for our wedding and would do so 10 times over. Our wedding had a bit of an unconventional format with no super strict timelines and Wesley totally nailed it. He totally got our vision, kept the night going, and filled in the blanks where needed. He had us fill out a full timeline with all music cues and hit them all perfectly. Wesley is a true professional in all things timeline, organization, and logistics.
Now onto the music: like many others, we didn't want the standard cheesy wedding fare. I was intimidated in picking a DJ because I wanted someone who felt cool, modern, and like we were at a chic bar that just so happened to be playing all of our favorite songs. Well, Wesley delivered! He had us create a playlist to serve as a sort of mood board to get a sense of our vibe, which was 1. such a fun exercise and 2. definitely productive because every single song he played was a hit. I don't think I left the dance floor the entire time, and we had friends tell us it was the best music and most fun they've ever had at a wedding. 10/10 vibes. Nailed it.

When we began looking for a wedding DJ, we knew it was going to be a tall order. Music is a big part of our lives and being in our mid 30s and having gone to so many weddings, we were not willing to settle for the usual (and we really did not want a hokey hype man). Our veto list was 140 songs long and we also didn’t want our wedding to have some weird and unapproachable dance floor- we wanted a constant party that was going to memorable for over 150 of our music-loving friends and fitting for the space (Bok) and all the other personal touches we put on the day. Domino Dancing didn’t just thread the needle, they blew our minds. We added a vinyl package for our diner hour and our guests kept complimenting us on how fitting the vinyl set was, all of the great selections, the vibe that Domino Dancing brought and, most importantly, how the floor was filled the entire night.

I booked Wesley because he came highly recommended by our photographer and he was great!! I probably wasn’t the easiest bride to work with as I’m super type B but also have a really specific vision in mind— bad combo lol but Wesley was on board with me the whole way! The vibe he creates is impeccable and he can bring as much energy or chill as you want, he captured the very vague vision I presented and had great playlists ready to go. Aside from the dancing Wesley handled sound for the ceremony, reception/speeches etc and everything was perfect!
